A quick tour around Shintaro Koi Farm

Today was a great day!
Our guests did Shintaro Koi Farms very first Nisai harvest of the year, and they loved it.
We will get some interviews done but one of the clients said “Apart from Family things, this is probably one of the best days ever”
Just something about actually getting in the mudpond and pulling out Koi which you can not see, only feel, then watch the quality of the Koi break through the water. It is an amazing experience.
The first pond was Showa 2 year olds and they ranged in size but all over the 50cm mark. The second pond was a mix of Kohaku, Sanke and Showa, same size and age.
Check out the pictures and the video. You dont have to be a Koi handling expert, this was the first time some of the guys had lifted them! A great day.
