Less than a week until we leave for Japan.

Koitrips will be leaving in less than a week now!

We will be flying from Manchester Airport and taking a short flight over the Amsterdam before boarding the plane direct to Narita Airport, just outside of Tokyo.

After clearing customs, drop down to the lower floors of the Airport, buy a train ticket which will take you all the way to Nagaoka Station, and then board the Narita Express train that takes you straight into Tokyo Central Station.
At Tokyo main terminal make a quick walk over to the Shinkansen tracks and find the platform to Niigata.

Then sit back on the Bullet Train for the 2 hour trip up to Nagaoka Station, the train will be on time, it will arrive at the exact time it says on your ticket, always!

Then its a very short walk over the New Otani Hotel which is where we base ourselves and our clients when we are in the mountains. It is a lovely Hotel, the best in the area with nice rooms and an includible Breakfast which is very good with many western choices.

If the connections on the train were good, depending on the line through customs etc, we hope to get to the mountains and checked into the Hotel around 1.30pm.
Then we pick up our car and head straight up the mountains and say hello to the breeders!

Leaving home to checking into the Hotel takes around 20 hours door to door, a very long day but very much worth it!
