Autumn Harvest
The biggest trip of the year is always the October/November harvest trips.
The Koi have been in growing to 50cm to 100cm in the mudponds since May of the same year and are now ready to be harvested.
The harvests start in October and will carry on throughout October and into November.
On some harvests you can experience getting ‘Hands on’ in one of the Koi mudponds so you can pick up the fish from the water… You would be the first person to see how they look!!
We try and incorporate a balance of experience and Koi buying, helping you find what you’re looking for and advising you along the way
This trip can last anywhere between 5 and 10 days.
AJKS
The All-Japan Koi Show is held in Tokyo every year.
This is a chance to see the very best Koi on the planet, close and personal.
Koi from 10cm to 110cm will be on show at the All Japan Koi Show and its amazing to walk round and view Koi that you will never get to see again.
It’s a wonderful experience for any Koi Keeper. The Koi show is also a great way to meet other Koi keepers from all over the world.
The Spring trip
The Spring trip is more for Koi Dealers.
Spring see’s many small Koi available for purchase and this is really a time for dealers to get Koi for their stores for the Koi Season.
We try not to mix dealers and hobbyists because sometimes Koi hobbyists don’t want to see the Koi Dealers are looking for and vice versa.
If Spring is the only time, you can go then we will make sure we are split up if there are any Hobbyists that want to come.
Dealers trips
Koitrips and Quality Nishikigoi can offer dealers great trips to Japan.
While dealers’ trips are different to hobbyists’ trips, we still have a lot of fun and find some great Koi to resell anywhere in the world.
Japan is a place where any dealer needs to go, to experience the home of Koi and to get the very important social media content which is now probably the most important aspect of running a Koi company. Social media is one of the very few ways these days to get the exposure that you need. If you have clients who want to come witt you, we can work together and make sure they have an amazing time in Japan.

We can put you in the heart of the Japan and find wonderful Koi and get you in a mudpond to get the experiences.
