Koi Show visits on Japan trips

In the Autumn buying trips we can fit in so many things to do apart from Koi buying.
With Harvests happening throughout the trip there are also a couple of major Koi shows and they are not your typical Koi Show.
The Nagaoka Koi Show last year was superb for us and our clients. Tim was invited to judge for the second time and the standard of Koi on show were fantastic, 90cm over and from the very best breeders around. The fun did not stop there.
The evening of the show Koitrips were invited to the dinner party held at a hotel in Nagaoka. Along with other people from all over the world we get to dine with the breeders of Niigata. It’s a great evening. The breeders make a point in trying to get the overseas visitors to drink as much as possible, it’s always a great night.
Our clients have also shown Koi in the show and had great results.
